Stage hire in Leeds, from our own yard
Event Equipment Hire has been based in West Yorkshire since 2004. The yard is at The Old Gas Works, Whitehall Road, Drighlington, BD11 1NQ — minutes from junction 27 of the M62 and roughly twenty minutes from Leeds city centre, Bradford or Wakefield.
That matters more than it sounds. Because the stage, the tractor unit and the crew all start the day locally, a Leeds booking does not carry the overnight vehicle, accommodation and travel time that a supplier from the south has to build into the quote. It also means a same-day de-rig is realistic: the stage can be off site and back in the yard before midnight rather than sitting on a park for another twenty-four hours while you pay for security and ground protection.
Events we cover across Leeds and West Yorkshire
Our stages go out to civic events in Millennium Square and Victoria Gardens, park events at Roundhay Park, Temple Newsam and Kirkstall Abbey, sports days and school events across the district, and town and village events in Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Otley, Ilkley, Pudsey, Morley, Batley, Dewsbury, Keighley, Harrogate and Skipton.
They are equally at home on a hard standing in a city square and on grass in a park — the trailer chassis spreads the load, and we will advise on trackway if the ground is soft.
How fast can a stage be on site in Leeds?
The 42sqm TS42 is standing in around 40 minutes from the trailer arriving. The largest 61sqm TS61 is fully erected in under three hours. From Drighlington the drive to most Leeds postcodes is under half an hour, so a morning slot genuinely means a morning slot.
We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If your load-in window is 4am because the road closure lifts at 8am, that is a normal day for us.

Common questions about stage hire in Leeds
Do you charge extra for delivery to Leeds?
No. Delivery, build and de-rig are included in the day rate. Leeds is on our doorstep.
Can you get a stage into a city centre square?
Yes, subject to access. The trailer needs a clear route in and a level footprint. Send us the location when you check your date and we will tell you which of the three stages fits.
How far in advance should I book?
For weekend events between May and the end of September, book on or before the start of the new year. Bank holiday weekends go one to three years ahead.
Do you cover the rest of Yorkshire?
Yes — the whole of West, North, South and East Yorkshire from the same depot, and the rest of the UK and Ireland from our depots in Leicester and Dumfries.
Get a date held for Leeds
Tell us the date, the site and roughly how many people. We will come back with the stage that fits and a price that includes getting it there, building it and taking it away.
