Health & Safety Policy

It is the policy of Event Equipment Hire Ltd., to provide healthy and safe working conditions for all
employees.

The Company recognises and accepts its responsibilities in connection with the provision
of adequate safety measures and the prevention of accidents.

The Company will not allow any unsafe working practices to operate in any department, and it is the
responsibilities of the foreman of each department to ensure that the welfare and safety of all
employees under his charge at all times takes precedence over any other consideration in the events of
any problem arising of this responsibility, the foreman of the department concerned shall raise the
matter with Mr. Richard.Haigh (Managing Director)

The Company will take all steps within its power to provide and maintain

a) Plant, equipment and systems of work that are safe
b) Safe arrangements for the use, handling storage and transport of articles and substances
c) Sufficient information, instructions, training and supervision to enable all employees to avoid
hazards and contribute positively to their own safety and health at work
d) A safe place of work and safe access to it
e) A healthy working environment
f) Adequate welfare facilities

It is recognised that the safest policy is only likely to be effective if it is supported by the active cooperation
of all employees. In this respect employees are reminded of their own obligations under
Section 7 and 8 of the Health and Safety at Work, etc., Act. It is the responsibility of all employees to
abide by regulations and procedures laid down for their health and safety. It is a condition of
employment that they take reasonable care to safeguard their health and safety and that of other persons
who may be effected by their actions at work. Employees who are aware of any conditions which may
be dangerous or unsatisfactory are required to bring the matter to the attention of Richard Haigh
(Managing Director)

All injuries however slight must be reported to Richard Haigh and must be entered into the accident
book.

Any persons discovering a fire shall contact Richard Haigh. If it is possible for that person to
extinguish the fire without danger, he/she shall immediately do so, otherwise he/she must vacate the
building/marquee after warning all other employees.

Upon being advised of a fire, all employees must immediately vacate the premises/marquee by the
nearest exit, and not return until they receive instructions from management.

The Director with overall responsibility for the implementation of this policy is Richard Haigh
This statement will be reviewed, added to or modified from time to time and may be supplemented in
appropriate cases by further statements relating to the work.
